Hey! I am a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol, UK. This page contains (mostly) stuff related to my research and hopefully stays up to date.

Biography

I am originally from southern Finland where I studied mathematics and completed my PhD at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Helsinki in 2012 under the supervision of Pertti Mattila. The studies were mostly funded by the Emil Aaltonen Foundation and Antti Kupiainen's ACADFI Centre of Excellence "Analysis and Dynamics Research".

Around and after the time of graduation I worked as a short term Project Researcher at the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Oulu hosted by Maarit Järvenpää until in 2013 I went for one year to the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol, UK, as a Research Associate to work with Thomas Jordan. Then for 2014 and most of 2015 I worked as a Research Fellow in Mike Hochman's ERC project FractalsAndMetricNT "Fractals, algebraic dynamics and metric number theory" at the Einstein Institute of Mathematics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
See my CV for more detailed information.
